Free, inclusive story-song resources for EYFS and KS1 to celebrate National Storytelling Week 2026

These story-songs have become part of our daily rhythm. Children who are usually quieter or hesitant feel able to join in, and the whole group feels calmer and more connected. It’s been such a practical way to support oracy, regulation, and belonging without adding pressure.

What I value most about the Diversitybuds Storytelling Week resources is that they don’t treat inclusion as an add-on. The songs and guidance make inclusive practice visible in everyday routines, which has helped staff think differently about access, participation, and belonging — not just during Storytelling Week, but beyond it.
