If you are

A professional, parent or carer interacting with 3-7-year-olds, you'll know just how important it is to develop positive diversity-awareness in your young children.

However, it's likely you may be experiencing feelings of dread, anxiety and uncertainty as to how you can do this effectively

Join us on this

FREE  'Diversity dash'

where we take you by the hand and show you some of the simple ways in which you can make an immediate difference when it comes to
diversity-awareness in yourself and your children

Read more about our 'Diversity Dash'

For each of the 5 sessions of our 'Diversity Dash', we explore some of the various aspects of diversity. We consider parts of our lives that impact directly, and strongly, with some the issues related to developing positive diversity-awareness in ourselves, others, and the children in our care. If you're not sure how diversity-awareness influences our everyday interactions, or you're a little uncertain about how to 'do' diversity, then you've found the right place for you! 😊 In addition to learning factual information, we offer you a simple musical example - a diversity-focussed song or rhyme that you can share with your children for long into the future.

You will learn how to incorporate a positive diversity 'dimension' into every part of your life - once you know where to look, you'll see an infinite range of ways in which you can instantly develop your own positive diversity awareness!

We are offering 5, 20-30-minute sessions for you to explore. You can binge on all of them, one after another, or you can choose to study one topic per day over the 7 days in which the course is available to you. It's entirely up to you how you consume the course! Each 20 - 30 minute session will introduce you to a different aspect of diversity-awareness. Within this timeframe, Clare introduces, and talks briefly about the topic - saying why it's an important aspect to think about, and how it relates to child-development within 3-7-year-olds. She also sketches out a song-idea for each topic, and she takes you through the optional accompanying worksheet exercises. That's it!

The 'Diversity Dash' runs for seven days in the third week of each month through 2022 (UK timings):

Midnight on Sunday 16th October - 11.59pm Saturday 22nd October
Midnight on Sunday 20th November - 11.59pm Saturday 26th November
Midnight on Sunday 18th December - 11.59pm on Saturday 24th December

No. We have tried to make the course as accessible as possible for everyone. So all the sessions are recorded in order to allow you the maximum level of flexibility in the way you want to study!

Clare will always offer (at least!) one live 'drop-in' group session per course, where you have the opportunity to chat and discuss any aspects of your learning, or any questions you may have. It's always great to get to meet together 'live'! (even if it is in 'virtual' form!

You will also have access to the 'Diversity Dash Community Chat' where you have the opportunity to post questions, comments and observations.

Access (within our community group) to the video recording of each topic
An accompanying .pdf 'information sheet' of the day's topic
A 'song-sketch' to keep and use with your children
Topic (optional) worksheets to complete
Personal help, support and encouragement from the Musicbuds' Team throughout the 'Diversity Dash'
Warmth, camaraderie, understanding and empathy from the entire 'Diversity Dash' community 👍🏻  👍🏿  👍🏼  👍🏾  👍

All 'Diversity Dash' resources will be available for seven days from the start of the course

IT DOESN'T MATTER IN THE SLIGHTEST! A 'song-sketch' basically demonstrates how you can take an idea and creatively 'run' with it in the moment - making something that resonates musically, rhythmically and memorably for the children. It's not about vocal- or pitch-quality. It's all about intention and enthusiasm ( - more of that coming through the 'Diversity Dash').

Promoting positive diversity-awareness is a pressing issue. At Musicbuds, we want to contribute towards making a fairer and more equitable world immediately. It needs to be now. This FREE 'Diversity Dash' is our attempt to support anyone and everyone who is committed to making change happen, by raising their own awareness of how they can, in simple steps, help to achieve this goal.

The content might be FREE, but it's only going to be helpful to you if you commit to doing the work you need to do in order to become an exemplary Diversity Practitioner, professionally and personally!

A little bit about Clare...
