Can You Find Your Name?

A game song to use at any time of the school year in the foundation stage and key stage one or in playgroups.      

What could be more meaningful to a young learner than seeing their name or photo? The song was written as a routine song to help children recognize their names in print.
 
It's a great song for encouraging, concentrated listening and turn taking musically. The song offers children the chance to develop their own musical anticipation as they wait for their name to be called.

Once the children become familiar they wait eagerly for their turn to search for their card when instructed, and then return to their places with a sense of pride.
